ID da oferta JR107828 Candidatar-se Exibir vagas salvasUnder the direction of S3 (Security, Safety & Sustainability) Global leadership, this role is the principal security lead for the Latin America Region, headquartered in Miami, FL.
The Regional Security Leader, LATAM has oversight and responsibility for all physical security operations, programs and initiatives concerning SPE properties, subsidiaries, events and productions in Miami and Latin America. In this security leadership capacity for the S3 team, the incumbent requires strong management & leadership skills, along with the ability to plan and execute at the strategic, operational and tactical levels. This role requires the ability to identify and implement appropriate plans, policies, procedures and processes within the region, and requires strong collaboration with the other functions and team members in the region and globally. As part of the Global S3 Leadership Team, he/she works closely with, and assists and leads other members of the team in delivering the full range of proactive and, as necessary, reactive/response security support to all SPE businesses & subsidiaries in the region as required.
The role will collaborate closely on matters of production security with the Senior Manager, Production Safety and Security, based in Brazil.
Responsibilities
Manage LATAM security issues including but not limited to: physical security, access control, site risk assessments, regional security investigations and incident response / crisis management.
Provide security and safety support for events and executive/talent visits, including coordination of staff and vendors.
Responsible for the selection of 3rd party security vendors and has responsibility for the management of security vendor resources in region.
In conjunction with S3’s Global Threat Management team, collate and analyze data that identifies risk and produce reports to aid in mitigation strategies.
Manage the full spectrum of security projects that occur in region.
Define and document security procedures and plans based on identified security risks.
Partner with business leaders across LATAM to ensure that the security program is well socialized and designed to meet the needs of the business.
Respond to requests for assistance with security issues.
Represent S3 at appropriate security meetings and events both internally and externally,
Prepare and issue presentations to diverse audiences as needed.
Maintain strong ties with law enforcement officials to ensure SPE is able to respond appropriately to events or crises.
Oversee and deliver security risk assessments to ensure that SPE assets are properly protected at sites within the region.
Provide advice and support to SPE and the Incident Assessment Team as needed.
React and advise on regional security trends, developments and incidents.
Manage all aspects of guarding services to ensure that security officers are both effective and efficient in their roles.
Provide physical security recommendations for new design/build projects of office space and other SPE facilities.
Ensure that appropriate training plans and programs are established across the region to address threats and risks, and ensure these protocols are reviewed on a regular basis.
Promote security awareness and instill a culture of collective and individual responsibilities for consistently following good security practices, including management of the S3 Champions Program in-region.
Create and deliver security training to employees and security staff as needed.
Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and oversight.
Requires the ability to travel within the US and LATAM and must possess and maintain a valid US passport.
Job Requirements
Experience:
BA/BS required
Masters preferred
Certification/licenses:
Crisis management, business continuity and emergency preparedness
Physical security knowledge
CCTV/Access control knowledge/awareness
8+ years of experience in corporate security, and relevant experience in the public sector/law enforcement/military.
Proven strategic influencer in relevant physical security and incident response/crisis management disciplines across LATAM territories.
Meaningful experience working with and within multi-disciplinary teams, managing diverse resources, along with proven fiscal responsibility.
Established executive leadership, communication, and management skills.
Knowledge of:
Film, TV and Digital production and distribution industry (desirable).
Knowledge and interest in staying current in world events and the geopolitical landscape.
Global security processes, procedures, and industry best practices across multinational territories.
Skills in:
Strategic level/organisation wide/regional and national level Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness.
Building key organisational relationships with senior leadership peers and representing S3 to external partners and stakeholders at an executive level.
Team leadership, staff development and coaching.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently.
Fluency in Portuguese is desirable but not essential.
