General Summary:

This position will report to the Director of Content Strategy & Acquisitions in Miami. The primary responsibility is to support the acquisitions team with assets management for each series and film that is licensed for the Latin American Networks and Digital Services. Duties include communicating the availability of assets to the Network teams, such as Creative, Marketing, Operations, Media Planning, and Programming. Entering the terms for each acquisition deal into the scheduling and rights system and work on special projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

50% Manage assets for the content acquisitions of all platforms (Sony Channel, AXN, Sony Movies, TVE apps, affiliate on demand sites, XVOD, FAST, Sony One):

  • Request assets for all content from distributors.

  • Maintain assets master file for FAST.

  • Manage format requirements for each Network department.

  • Download, store and distribute assets.

  • Upload and revise key art for all content to the app, CRM.

  • Upload or extract material (documents or video) from Connect, Runner and other internal or external platforms, and send out links, both to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communication of assets availability to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Keep assets up to date and in line with license periods.

  • Label and maintain files for various promotional materials (i.e., key art, stills, trailers, clips etc.)

35% Sony One and FAST Metadata Management:

  • Weekly review to ensure all required metadata to publish content packages has been correctly ingested into internal systems (Gpms, Prism, Bebanjo).

  • Update, organize, summarize and translate all content metadata for digital content acquisitions including loglines, synopses, genres, TX episode order, content/audience ratings and cast and crew details.

  • Collaborate with Multiplatform Scheduler correcting and completing all gaps including ratings, rating descriptors, local titles, episode TX order.

  • Weekly review, monitor and update local government rating shifts for all Sony One library and upcoming content.

  • Collaborate with and keep up to date all metadata requirements for internal teams, including Finance, Data Analytics, Operations and Marketing and Digital Partnerships including Internal IDs and SKUs.

10% Manage entry of content acquisition deals in the scheduling and rights systems (Bebanjo) which entails:

  • Input, update and maintain deals and rights (i.e. territory, platforms, license period, promotional window (FVOD) and blackout windows).

  • Organize the legal document repository for the networks.

  • Support to maintain master files for Sony One.

  • Maintain and distribute the content request file.

5% Ad-hoc Projects:

  • Assist Content Strategy Sr. Manager and Multiplatform Planner in creating Programming Content Roadmaps, Sales presentations and Priority Content databases for Sony One and FAST Channels, to distribute internally and externally.

  • Assist cross-departmental teams with any questions regarding metadata or asset availability for past, current and upcoming Digital Content.

  • Arrange the asset management folder for each network series to ensure searchability.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Fully bilingual in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

  • Proven experience with data entry.  

  • Proficiency in computer applications on a PC: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Skilled in project and timetable management; can work on multiple projects at the same time with the ability to prioritize.

  • Interest in U.S. and International entertainment i.e., films and series.

  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful.

  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Enjoys working in a team, as well as independently.

  • Sensitivity to foreign cultures.

  • Familiarity with international markets, particularly the Latin American/ US Hispanic Film and TV landscape.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of data entry in business, preferably in the entertainment industry.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in either Legal, Finance or Business Administration.
