This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 12th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for entry-level talent or recent graduates interested in jump-starting their career in a particular field.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Brand and Marketing Distribution department supports Sony Pictures Entertainment's different lines of businesses across all of Latin America. The Marketing Trainee will support the B2P (business to people) division to execute the marketing plan approved for Home Entertainment, Distribution, Networks and all emerging businesses in the region.
The Trainee will work directly with the B2P Marketing Team providing support on all consumer driven marketing strategies and tactics for SPE properties with a special focus in planning and executing above the line media campaigns to increase brand awareness and maximize digital opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in overseeing marketing campaign execution and implementation along with media buy, digital campaigns, external agencies, partners and regions.
- Support and help coordinate consumer campaigns from start to finish: media buy planning, targeting and segmentation, execution and reporting
- Help track all social media activities in all existing platforms in Latin America with focus on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube
- Maintain accurate records and status of projects that will lead to on time campaign delivery
- Work in synergy with internal departments across regions, such as On-Air, Creative, Digital, Legal, PR and Finance
- Provide insights, monitor trends, develop reports and presentations for all marketing activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate and maintain key relationships with internal and agency
- Fully bilingual in Spanish /English, Portuguese is a Plus
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- A team player and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and effectively function in an ever-changing business environment
- Technology enthusiast, Trend hunter
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Digital Media experience
- Social Media experience
- Use of metrics, analytics and capable of data management and interpretation
