This Spring Internship is from January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 through April 24th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
TV Post Production helms and supervises the Television Post process for Sony Pictures’ live-action, scripted shows. Our process begins while a show is being written and carries through delivery to the Network and Studio. We work closely with several teams across Sony Pictures Television ensuring every department receives what is needed including Finance, Production, Business Affairs, and TV Mastering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending internal Post and Production meetings to learn how Finance, Post Production, Visual Effects and Physical Production share information and support each other, both on the studio side and show-by-show
- Hard Drive maintenance and tracking
- Be walked through the VFX bids process and create visual effects agreements
- Become familiar with Post Production workflow and schedule
- Learn from the department Directors how we find talent and bring them onboard our projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in school or university for the duration of the internship with relevant education in a related field
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite
- A desire to concentrate on Post Production, specifically in Television
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
