This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 29th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The People Analytics Team is focused on delivering key insights, metrics, and dashboards to our People & Organization Business Partners, leaders, and key stakeholders when, how, and where they are needed. As part of the People Solutions team, we are committed to leveraging our enhanced data structures, new tools, and creative thinking to support leaders in making the best decisions about their workforce.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the People Analytics Team in implementation and rollout of our new Survey and Analytics platform
- Support ad-hoc data and analytics requests from key stakeholders
- Validate data and review results from templates
- Prepare and communicate dashboard and education initiatives to business partners
- Ask lots of questions!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in school and studying for their Bachelor's, MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Understanding of basic functions in Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Curiosity about data and analytics
- Ability to help connect the dots across multiple workstreams or projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with data visualizations (graphs and charts)
- Basic understanding of survey concepts (employee engagement)
- Prior job or coursework that required data analysis
- Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other visualization platforms
