This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 12th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for entry-level talent or recent graduates interested in jump-starting their career in a particular field.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Franchise Management is a new division at Sony responsible for creating and executing strategies that evolve TV IP into a dynamic, branded ecosystems that engage fans across multiple content, products, experiences, and social formats, all designed to work together to enhance continued IP relevance and generate sustainable, long-term value for the studio
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Trainee will be assisting the EVP of Franchise in creating ground-up processes to manage IP across both adult and kid demos. The person will interact with creative teams across TV development teams, consumer products, music and location-based entertainment at Sony. This will include creating property one-sheets, sales decks, tracking documents, franchise analysis grids, and project managing franchise marketing activations. As this is a new division, it is a unique opportunity to work alongside a senior executive to learn the strategies behind franchise and brand management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient at creating presentation decks in both Keynote and PowerPoint
- Experience with Excel and tracking grids
- Degree focus in marketing or business related major
- Social media savvy and able to do research and pull together reports on trends
